Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 7 October 2026
Our commitment
This statement covers sharpdigital.co.uk. We want everyone who visits to find what they need, read it comfortably, and get in touch with us, whatever device, browser, or assistive technology they use.
We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Our current target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA for every page. Beyond it, we aim to meet Level AAA success criteria wherever practicable. The W3C notes that some content cannot meet every AAA criterion, so we treat AA as our baseline and AAA as the standard we work towards.
Accessibility on this website
On this website you can:
- zoom in up to 400% with your browser zoom
- move through the website with a keyboard alone, starting with a skip link that takes you straight to the main content
- use a screen reader: every page declares its language and is structured with headings and landmarks
- turn on reduced motion on your device: page header images stay still, the home page carousel fades between slides in place of sliding, and the cookie banner opens without animation
- read the main text in charcoal on white, a contrast ratio of 12.63 to 1, above the AAA ratio of 7 to 1
Disclaimer
We work to keep every page on this website accessible. Websites change over time, and new content can bring new barriers between our reviews.
If anything on this website is hard to use, tell us and we will put it right.
Third-party content
- Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, runs only after you accept analytics cookies. It measures visits in the background.
- The cookie banner is part of this website, so this statement covers it.
- The share links on blog posts open LinkedIn and X. Those services publish their own accessibility information.
How we tested
We last tested this website on 7 October 2026, using:
- automated checks with axe-core against the WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA rules
- manual keyboard checks and reflow checks at 320 pixels wide
- a review of the code and of colour contrast, measured with the WCAG formula
We tested the home page, About, a team member page, Services, a service page, Work, a case study, Blog, a blog post, Contact, Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions, and this page.
